In the years to come, as we weather disasters on the regular, we'll never know how many lives could have been saved if the GOP hadn't decided to make climate change an issue. If they hadn't taken the easy money and doubled down on fighting every step we have to take to answer this threat. I'll always be thankful for whatever we manage to accomplish that makes the future a little brighter, but I'll always know that we could've done so much more if only we hadn't been slowed down by the ignorant, the arrogant, and the greedy.
